More About Data LicensingMembership Requirements
Learn what's required to become an SBFE member
SBFE membership is open to entities that either originate or process business-purpose credit for small businesses or own related credit paper. This includes licensed Certified Development Companies (CDCs) and Business Development Companies (BDCs). However, businesses dealing in trade credit are not eligible for membership.
To maintain SBFE membership, you must submit your small business credit payment performance data on a monthly basis and pay annual dues, which are based on the number of accounts you contribute. Only business units that actively submit their portfolio data to SBFE are eligible to access products containing SBFE data.
Data licensing opportunities for all
SBFE's premier licensees are called Certified Vendors. SBFE Certified Vendors receive SBFE's entire dataset representing tens of millions of small businesses, dating back to 2001
An alternative option to the Certified Vendor pathway. You may choose to receive a subset of SBFE's data that is customized to your needs.
