Carolyn has had a unique and broad ranging career in the financial services industry for over twenty-five years, the last ten of which focused specifically in the areas of commercial, small business and small business owner lending and marketing. Her experience spans regulatory and compliance, risk management, marketing, product development, sales, operations and governmental agencies. Before joining SBFE, Carolyn retired from Experian as a Director in its Business Information Solutions group. There she led some of its most successful field sales teams and negotiated Experians original GSA contract with the US Government. She also led product development teams in business fraud, small business financial data, data acquisition and other key areas. Carolyn's expertise covers both consumer and commercial data as well as risk management, marketing and decisioning systems. Prior to Experian, Carolyn oversaw compliance and operations, and served as Corporate Secretary for two financial institutions. Carolyn brings a long and proven track record in establishing and achieving strategic goals and driving revenue. During her career, Carolyn has amassed dozens of innovation, revenue, and leadership awards. She has been interviewed by and published numerous times in national industry publications, and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, workshops and webinars. Carolyn, a native of Texas, currently resides in Shaker Heights, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland, with her husband and family.
