The Small Business Financial Exchange is a Member-owned database managed
by Equifax for SBFE. Member Institutions have access to a wide range of positive
and negative tradeline information about small businesses. This includes loans,
credit lines, leases, credit cards and Small Business Administration (SBA) loans.
SBFE data helps lenders:
- Determine acquisition risk
- Prevent fraud
- Manage portfolios
- Locate "skipped" accounts
With a more complete view of liabilities and credit history, lenders can make
well-informed credit decisions, reduce their risk exposure and improve
collection rates.
